Dutch iron-air battery startup Ore Energy has raised a $43 million Series A to commercialize its 100-hour storage tech. The funding brings the company’s total amount raised to $61M.
Eos Deploys Z3 Battery in Nebraska Capital Microgrid
Electric utility provider Lincoln Electric System (LES)will deploy an Eos Energy Enterprises Z3 zinc-based battery into its 30-MW microgrid in Lincoln, Nebraska’s state capital. A key drawing point: “this thing is essentially non-flammable, which is important because it’s built to go in a dense urban environment,” an LES representative said.
LDES manufacturer TerraFlow Energy and electrical infrastructure firm Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. have signed an MOU to integrate TerraFlow’s VRFB tech directly into critical power infrastructure. The companies are also exploring opportunities to integrate Shoals’ AirLink™ data center power distribution solution within TerraFlow’s customer demonstration facilities.
