Elestor to Deploy System for Europe’s Largest Onshore Wind Farm
Fresh off a €30 million (US$34 million) Series A, Dutch hydrogen-iron flow developer Elestor has signed with Windpark Zeewolde to deploy a 20MW/200-800MWh storage system at what is described as Europe’s largest onshore wind farm.
The battery will help store Windpark Zeewolde’s copious energy that can’t be exported during peak periods due to grid congestion.
India-based Offgrid Energy Labs has launched its first ZincGel pilot battery manufacturing facility.
The 10 MWh demonstration line in Hook, United Kingdom, is the zinc-bromine tech producer’s first international manufacturing base—as well as its first commercial pilot manufacturing facility, marking the transition from lab to commercial-scale.
