Adoption, Deals, and Tech
Global Data Center Consortium Taps Phinergy
The Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers — a global consortium of data center players including Danfoss, Data4, Google, Microsoft, Vertiv, and Schneider Electric — has selected Phinergy’s aluminum-air tech as a partner in its mission “to speed up the large-scale adoption of clean alternatives to diesel backup generators.”
- Phinergy’s solution was chosen from over 70 proposals submitted in response to the Hub’s RFI aimed at identifying clean and scalable backup energy systems for data centers.
- Phinergy and the Hub will now collaborate towards the execution of a funded project for scaling aluminum-air backup systems to the MW level and deploying them in live environments at hub member data centers.
