Massive Vanadium

  • China has completed primary construction on the world’s largest vanadium redox flow battery. Backed by China Huaneng Group, the 200 MW/1 GWh VRFB is expected to generate 1.72 TWh of electricity annually and to reduce CO₂ emissions by over 1.6 million tonnes per year. Full story at ESS News.

$22.7M DOE Funds to Eos Energy
