We’re excited to announce that Octet Scientific, Inc. has been awarded funding through the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Energy Storage Technical Assistance (ESTA) Vouchers program. This support enables us to provide specialized technical assistance to our partner, Form Energy, as they continue their groundbreaking work in long-duration energy storage.

With this support from the DOE, Octet will collaborate with Form Energy to enhance our shared focus on advanced, aqueous-based battery technology. Octet’s expertise in electrolyte additives is key to improving battery longevity, safety, and affordability, all critical factors for long duration grid-scale storage. By working closely with Form Energy, we aim to accelerate innovations that will make clean, reliable power accessible on a large scale.

DOE’s ESTA Vouchers also reflect a commitment to community resilience, helping underserved areas strengthen their energy infrastructure. Together with Form Energy and the DOE’s backing, Octet is positioned to advance sustainable solutions that will make a significant impact on energy resilience and the integration of renewable resources.
