Form Energy Lands $750M Round
The series G funding, led by T. Rowe Price, brings Form’s total equity raised to date to over $2 billion.
The funding comes as Form has taken a role as a leading growth company amidst the boom in demand for storage for AI data centers and the need for secure supply chains.
Form’s signed contracts include:
- A 300 MW/30 GWh battery for an Xcel Energy-built data center for Google
- 12 gigawatt-hours to Crusoe, a company building AI data centers for Oracle and Meta Platforms among others.
Per TechCrunch, roughly 80% of Form’s materials come from the U.S., with the balance from Europe and Asia – and none coming from China.

Invinity Hits 10 GWh Dispatched, 43-MWh Deal
The British company has deployed its VS3 and Endurium vanadium flow systems across the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and Southeast Asia, and has seen its cumulative volume of energy dispatched increase 85% year-on-year.
Notable deployments include The Viejas Resort and Casino in California, for which it delivered more than 0.5 GWh while consistently meeting or exceeding warranted performance parameters.

The company announced the milestone on the heels of its largest sale to date: a 43-MWh sale to Dairyland Power Cooperative in Wisconsin, U.S., reported earlier this month in Energy Storage News.

Aqueous Rising in the Ranks
