Netherland’s €30M LDES Consortium
Dutch battery consortium SLDBatt (short for Sustainable Long Duration Battery Technology), a collaboration of knowledge institutions and companies including aqueous energy firms AQUABATTERY (saltwater) and Elestor (hydrogen bromine) has secured €20M from Dutch government innovation agency RvO, with a total budget of over €30M overall. $1M Raise for AVESS Energy
Australian VFB firm AVESS Energy has closed a $1M capital raise. Proceeds will go towards completing battery optimization works, the commencement of the Carbon Innovation Grants Program (CIGP), and deployment of the firm’s 50kW/250kWh prototype at the Windimurra Vanadium Project. Western Australian VFB EOI
The state of Western Australian has opened an expression of interest (EOI) process for a 50 MW/500 MWh vanadium flow battery system in the city of Kalgoorlie. The project aims to improve power reliability while supporting the state’s clean energy goals.
