World’s Largest Aqueous Organic Flow Battery

Suqian Time Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., has commissioned the world’s largest aqueous organic flow battery energy storage system in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, per an announcement.

  • With a 5 MW / 20 MWh capacity and over 20,000 charge/discharge cycles, the system just ran a successful 72-hour continuous operation test.
  • Suqian subsidiary Jena Flow Batteries, which collaborated closely with Suqian on development, provides details and footage on LinkedIn.

Inlyte’s Commercial-Scale Leadership Team

Iron-sodium battery manufacturer Inlyte Energy has appointed a trio of industry veterans to their leadership team.

  • Sandor Hollo, former Chief Technology Officer of GE Energy Storage, joins as EVP of Product.
  • Alison Armstrong, former manufacturing director from Tesla, joins as Head of Operations.
  • Dilip Goswami, former CEO of Molekule and venture partner at At One Ventures, joins as President.

Hydrogen-Iron RFB Strategic Partnership Search

A Dutch hydrogen-iron redox flow battery firm is conducting a global search for a number of strategic partners. The technology’s key stats include:

  • 8 – 150 hours of storage
  • 3 megawatt-hour installation already in operation
  • Development for a 250 megawatt-hour utility-scale system underway.
