Form Closes $270M Line of Credit
Form Energy has closed a $270M credit facility. The funding was led by Barclays, with additional participation from Citi, Jefferies, JPMorgan Chase, RBC Capital Markets, Societe Generale, Stifel, and Wells Fargo. Read the press release.
Eos Receives $87M Advance
Zinc battery maker Eos Energy Enterprises has received an $87 million advance under its loan agreement with the US Department of Energy (DOE). The funds go towards the production of 4 GWh of annual manufacturing capacity across two lines. Read more in Energy Storage News.
Offgrid Marks UK Domestic LDES Milestone
UK zinc battery manufacturer Offgrid Energy Labs has signed an MOU to deploy a pilot system for Staffordshire-based Keele University. The project, which will seek to assess how the technology could capture and store roughly 1 MWh each month under real operating conditions, marks the UK's first domestically manufactured zinc-LDES project. Octet Leader Recognized by BCI
Octet Scientific‘s Chief Commercial Officer, Emily Dickens, has been named a recipient of Battery Council International (BCI)‘s Inaugural NextGen Leadership Award. In BCI's recognition, the industry body calls Dickens “a leading voice championing the aqueous battery industry, working to advance its commercial and technical adoption.” Read BCI's announcement.
