Invinity’s 20.7 MWh First Phase
Invinity has completed the first phase of its 20.7 MWh Copwood VFB Energy Hub, with 40 Invinity Vanadium Flow Batteries delivered and installation of the 3 MWp solar array planned for next year. Details and footage of the work on the Invinity site.
434.2 MWh
A total of 434.2 MWh of aqueous energy storage capacity came online in 2025, per an Octet analysis based on data from energy storage information site FairGreen. It’s a major sign of traction in the field. The full report on the numbers will appear in the upcoming Volta battery report, due out in Q1.
Octet’s 420+
Octet has seen the year’s end with a 420+-molecule catalog, 4,000+ additive tests over run during the year, and an expansion from zinc-only to aqueous-agnostic — with major work in zinc, iron, lead, and soon vanadium. Read more about this and more Octet advances in our 2025 wrap-up.
